Holistic Transformational Church Planting Movement

Holistic-transformational church planting movement is a five-year missionary sending and church planting program that aims to integrate Holistic and transformational approaches to maximize the effectiveness of the church planting movement conducted among the unreached people groups of Ethiopia. Through the program, we will send 100 grass root missionaries to selected people groups and areas In Ethiopia. The program Holistic-transformational church planting movement program was born realizing timeless biblical mandate (the Great Commission) and contemporary needs and potential in Ethiopia.

1. Prayer Movement

This seems like a no-brainer since we recognize there is always room for more prayer in our lives. But this is not a throw-away point. Scripture is full of promises that God’s saving power will be known among all peoples (Psalm 67:2). What greater prayers could we pray than ones that God has already promised to answer? Consider other passages like Psalm 96, Psalm 113:3, Malachi 1:11, Isaiah 45, and Matthew 28:18-21. Not only will God use these prayers to reveal the needs of the world to believers but will break the barriers in the mission fields. Awaken churches, believers, and families to come together to pray for the mission.

2. Training and Teaching

This program has two parts. The first part will focus on training missionaries that will be deployed on the mission fields. Teaching and Training is a model Christ has implemented so will follow the path. Missionaries will be trained in various mission strategies, disciplines, and practices. Among those will be the Church planting movement (CPM), Disciple-making movement (DMM), Evangelism, Discipleship, Leadership, and different contextualization-based training.

3. Coaching and Follow-up

A Mission work that lacks adequate coaching and follow up will not produce the expected result. This program is strategy based, there are three main components mentioned in the philosophy that needs sharp coaching to help missionaries implement the strategies, a very technical holistic approach that needs follow ups and a transformational plan to see churches with changed practice, habits, and mission awareness. These facts raise the need for serious coaching and follow-up mechanisms and strategies.

4. Holistic Project Integration

This program plans to integrate various social works that will accelerate the mission work. We will work with nearby local churches, missionaries, and ministries to identify the needs of communities and implement our plans.

5. Partnership

Collaboration and partnership are a crucial part of Christian ministry. Partnership and collaboration will be developed with Local churches, denominations, and like-minded ministries locally and globally to bring one's experience and resources.
