Mission Research Program

The Ethiopian mission movement among churches, campuses, and different ministries as mentioned earlier is on the verge of a huge awakening. Majorly missionary organizations have been key players in focusing on reaching the unreached of Ethiopia and missionary sending beyond the borders it must be noted that I am not ruling the fact that some denominations have been trying in missionary sending efforts. But now there is a glimpse of unity among denominations and ministries to collaborate and work to shift into missionary sending. This is amazing news to all who have hoped for this for a long. That's why such programs as mission research must be supported and encouraged because they can play a key role in maximizing those efforts by denominations and ministries in conducting timely surveys and research on different aspects of the mission in Ethiopia and how we can maximize our mission sending effort, how to find best practices and help to conduct assessments on different missionary sending mechanisms. This program can fill a big gap. The Ethiopian mission experience for a century if assessed and researched was being conducted majorly by foreigners who have different views, and theological frameworks, and some even overlook some essential factors that relate to cultural and societal interactions so building such programs run or collaborate volunteers of local individuals will give us encourage indigenous efforts and practices.

Strategic Areas

The need for this program is immense and we need to find ideal areas that will be useful for the current mission ministry endeavor if focused and proceed with the plan this can be viable to all denominations and ministries out there who are working to see a changed platform in Ethiopia.
